Value of all agricultural products sold in 2012 totaled $7.8 billion, a 28% increase from 2007.

Agribusiness contributes $40 billion to the state economy each year and employs more than 170,000 people.

There are more than 36,000 farms in the state encompassing nearly 32 million acres.

Colorado's average farm size is 881 acres.
