Radiolab's in Awe of the Fungi Miracle

In this 34 minute audio presentation by RadioLab, the discussion is about the inter-relationship of fungi, carbon and minerals, trees, soil, and plants. It is all about how amazingly important the role of fungi are. The way in which fungi transfer minerals, they call "a miracle". The fungus can actually build a tunnel through rock, using the springtails in the soil in their process. As always, life eats life.
