Video: The Eden Project in Cornwall

This video tells the story of how the Eden Project, "the largest rainforest in captivity" came to fruition in 2001. It is a set of connected geodesic domes, or biomes, which house a large global plant collection. It is one of the UK's most popular tourist attractions. The aerial views of the project are particularly captivating and marvelous.

Of note is the philosophy of Eden Project's co-founder, Sir Tim Smit. He says that Eden is an attitude, and it shows that if good people come together they can transform something hopeless into something full of hope and that this idea is contagious. He believes we've only scratched the surface of what we're capable of and that humanity is 99% good and full of hope.
