TED Talk About the Interconnectedness and Intelligence of Trees in Forests

This British Columbia native, Suzanne Simard, has spent her life studying and observing forests and she is impressed with tree intelligence and communication skills, as well as their ability to share nutrients and work together symbiotically. She is concerned about Canada's rate of cutting forests - 3.6 percent per year - which is unsustainable. She wants locals, not outsiders to be the ones to connect with forests and make decisions about sustaining them.
