TED Talk on Quantum Biology

Quantum mechanics has largely been ignored in biology. Yet, it is a part of living cells and it probably explains some curious things such as a bird's ability to migrate.

It has a role in DNA, too.

If this subject interests you, then you'll enjoy this talk (or transcript) by nuclear physicist, Jim Al-Khalili.

And, yes, this subject is relevant when discussing agriculture.
