Tractor Mounted Corn Picker

Photographic Negative. In the image, Sunny Hill is on a tractor with a mounted corn picker. The tractor is attached to a wagon. Written on the side of the corn picker is the manufacturer's name NEW IDEA. The machinery also has a warning on the side stating "KEEP HANDS AWAY FROM MOVING PARTS." Per Edward Garretson, Sunny Hill was hired each fall to do fieldwork and harvesting with the corn picker on his farm in Stillwater, Sussex County, New Jersey . The corn picker harvested whole ears of corn to be stored in a corn crib for later use.
