In the image, Edward Garretson steam cleans a hay baler at Hemlock Valley Farm in Stillwater, Sussex County, New Jersey prior to leaving it in his father's care for several months to go to Alaska in 1959. The tractor is a 1939 DC Case. The baler was purchased by Garretson in 1946.
